Morning Chaps,

Think that the stuff looks cool, there colours are perhaps a little subtle though, when they appear on their own it looks like we have done a fenestration study along the street. Also does this remind anyone of the opening credits to bewitched (not that i have ever watched it)

I like the swirly bits in the first image that you sent me, it looks pretty cool, it shows the excitement in the facade that we are trying to show.

I don't know these are just initial reactions what do you guys think?

I agree on the colours, I think they need adjusting but I'm not sure how yet. Shall we all have a go at altering them and then see which works best? My only concern with the colours is that we don't want it to be a mix of lots of different colours, I started mine like that and it looks a bit unsophisticated, if that makes sense. A limited palette is definitely best (maybe tones of the same colour?).

You may be right about the fenestration, although I think the latest image I sent is a lot closer to what we want than the first one. I like the line images too, although I wonder how this can be incorporated? Same image or a separate one? Maybe this is the next stage.

Did you have a look at the sheet with the photos/maps? Do you think we need something like that to support what we're doing?

Evening,

Sorry I have had a mega busy weekend, had a go at one of the elevations, just used some different colors to see what you two thought.

Blue = Strong Vertical Elements
Yellow = Strong Horizontal Elements
Orange = Ornate Elements

Like that you stuck silhouette of people on will as those tomorrow.

I am working tomorrow so that hopefully we can all be in on Wednesday.

Like it loath it let me no and I can alter accordingly, i tried to keep box windows out of it.

Think the A3 sheet might be an idea but unsure whether it would be relevant, what does rich think?

I think that works really well Ed.

Have you left the colours as totally solid? Mine are all on separate layers so it's easy to change, I'll do this tomorrow evening. Same colours for the perspective images too?

Me and Rick spoke earlier and said if we meet up Tuesday am it may be possible that we don't need Wednesday? Would we get the presentation finished then? Currently I'm due to work but it's no hassle to change it if we need it.

Personally, I also like that even though we're approaching it in a similar way we're each going to have something different. My images look very different to yours but I think that will work in our favour, it shows an individual approach to a group idea. Or do you think they should be more uniform?

Color scheme is called wogawoga on Kuler, I like it alot

I have left the colors solid as It will end up being a diagram and could be just 'opaqued' on the 'inbetween' image. Can use the same colors if you both think, I was going to do the people in the green I had created, could wander of into the little green man from a traffic light thing at a later stage perhaps, whatever you both think anyway.

I'm easy with just Tuesday, I think as long as we are clear we can just bounce emails around, unsure about the presentation however as it always takes longer and I think it will be key in the success of what we are trying to convey, would it be worth planning for half a day on Wed if that fits in?

Think the fact that it is a group effort but we are mapping individually is good as long as color scheme and perhaps the people style stays the same all the way down it will look spiffing! As long as it reads as one diagrammatic elevation.

Did you trace over your people or use library files?

I think that at the stage I am at it will be a push to get everything finished for Tuesday AM with working tomorrow. I am happy to come in first thing but what I have may be very much a work in progress, if we could make it 11ish that would be great.

At work tomorrow so bounce emails to that addy please

Let's run with that colour scheme then, if you could just send us the green too, that would be ace. I just loosely traced over the people but think it works well. Agree on the colour and people being the same colour/style, that way it ties together but has the independent styles.

I'll switch my days at work so I'm free Wednesday, just to make sure.

Morning,

Yeh like that colour scheme of your's ed it illustrates and makes it more abstract. Is it possible to send a colour chart of it, or just add the green people to the one as before and we can go from that.
Are we going for green people?

Been said before but I do think the individual impact will look good as well as the fact that the elevations are different anyway.

Will change my colour scheme and send a preview later. Im probably going to include a bit of a grey tone colour for the blander elements of the elevation to better define it.

Meet at 11 tomoro? Bringing my laptop in so can get the prez work done. Would be good to get it done tomoro if possible.

Spk later
